Living Learning Communities (LLC)

That's where Living Learning Communities come in. These programs are designed to give students the chance to become part of a unique experience with programs and facilities to support the interests of the community members.

Themed housing includes Living Learning Communities (LLC’s) and Freshman Interest Groups (FIG’s)!  The Freshman Interest Groups are located in Clark and Foster Residence Halls and serve our first-year students. Themed Houses are located in Samuelson and Carter Residence Halls and serve our sophomore, junior and senior students.

Freshman Interest Groups include Business, Education, Honors House, Service and Learning, and Women in Science and Health (WISH).

Themed Housing
includes Green House, Health and Wellness, Honors House, Language and International House and Leadership and Strengths.

As a member of a Living Learning Community, you'll have increased opportunities to interact with university faculty and staff and develop strong relationships with your fellow students. Living Learning Community members will be able to utilize campus resources, programs and seminars to create their own living environment.

College is not only about turning in papers and taking tests.  It is also about being engaged in and outside of the classroom, preparing for the future, learning about each other and developing relationships with peers.  As a member of a Living Learning Community, you'll have the challenge and support you need to live, learn and grow.
