Welcome to the “Heart of the Horned Frog” Chapter of National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) at Texas Christian University! We are proud to share our information with you, and we encourage you to contact us with any questions!
The first chapter class was inducted on Sunday, November 2nd, 2008 at a size of 15 members. We will have a Spring Induction Class that we hope will fulfill our 35 chapter member size and will candidly represent the Top 1% of TCU’s leaders living in the residence halls!
The current NRHH Advisor is Bridgit Breslow and she can be contacted via email at b.breslow@tcu.edu. Bridgit became a part of NRHH in 2004, and is honored to serve as TCU’s first NRHH Chapter Advisor! She also serves as the Foster Hall Director and advises the Freshman Interest Group (FIG) Program in her hall.
About NRHH (from http://www.nrhh.org/):
The National Residence Hall Honorary is the only nationwide organization that exclusively recognizes leaders in the residence halls; it is also considered the recognition branch of the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH), Inc. The opportunity to have a chapter is a service of NACURH, Inc. designed to give local, regional and national recognition to students making outstanding contributions to their campus and residence halls. NACURH firmly believes in the value of student involvement in residence hall life through community service, community building, advocacy and educational programming.
Realizing the value of participation, leaders have contributed vast amounts of their personal time in an effort to make their own college experiences more meaningful to them. This effort not only benefits them, it benefits their campus and entire residence hall system at their school as well. NRHH exists to honor these leaders. They work hard and all too often go unnoticed without even so much as a thank you. That is the fundamental purpose of an NRHH Chapter.
Membership in chapters is limited to one percent of your school's residence hall population, or 20 members, whichever is greater. NRHH is a very select group of leaders thus being selected into the membership is an honor in which one can take a great amount of pride in.
