Social Justice and Service Learning Living Learning Community Programs
Presidential Debate
Students representing the various political groups on campus will discuss and debate the issues facing our nation. Students will have the opportunity to engage in dialogue with campus representatives regarding the upcoming elections.
Dinner Dialogue
Students will meet over dinner to discuss social justice issues facing the TCU, Fort Worth or Global community. This weekly engagement will allow students the opportunity to pick pragmatic topics, invite faculty, and ultimately dialogue over topics that impact all of us.
Semester Service Engagement
At the beginning of each semester the community will choose a community organization or center to contribute to for the duration of the semester. The community will focus their resources, time and energy to help shape and contribute to this community organization. Community members will serve the organization weekly. Additionally, community members will participate in self reflection throughout the semester related to the activity.
