Welcome to our Residence Hall Community

At TCU, residence halls are more than a place to put your pillow and hang your clothes. It's where you can hang out with your roommate (who might soon be your best friend), exchange thoughts, grow, and be challenged. In short, it's where you learn to live with others. People have unique personalities; residence halls do, too. Some are known for residents who paint their faces and go crazy at football games. Other halls focus on community service projects, first-year student issues, or intramural participation, while a few are quiet places to study. One thing is for certain: residence halls are vibrant communities.

Each of TCU's 1,532 residence hall rooms are equipped with beds, mattresses, desks, chairs, and dressers as well as access to cable TV, telephone service, and the Internet which are included in the housing charge for the semester (see Residence Hall Rates). With the exception of Colby, all rooms are carpeted. And, of course, each residence hall also comes with its own history and heritage, which tends to rub off on its residents. This site was developed as a tool for both prospective and current students to evaluate the options of residential living at TCU.
